The national team of Bashkortostan won the relay race at the Russian Biathlon Championship

The national team of Bashkortostan consisting of Alexander Babchin, Anton Babikov, Alexey Petrov and Eduard Latypov won the men’s 4×7.5 km relay race at the Russian Biathlon Championship in Khanty-Mansiysk, which ended on Sunday, April 4.

Athletes covered the distance in 1 hour 20 minutes 37.6 seconds. Six additional rounds were spent on shooting without running a single penalty loop.

Silver was won by the team of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug. It included Dmitry Ivanov, Nikita Porshnev, Vadim Filimonov and Semyon Suchilov. They were 29.8 seconds behind the race winners, using three extra rounds.

The three leaders were closed by the Moscow team consisting of Daniil Fomin, Matvey Eliseev, Ilya Gavrilov and Karim Khalili. They finished the relay 58.4 seconds later than the Bashkortostan team (0 + 8).

Earlier it was reported that the representative of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Larisa Kuklina took first place in the 12.5 km general start race at the Russian Biathlon Championship in Khanty-Mansiysk.
