The mode of self-isolation for the elderly was extended in the suburbs until July 12

Residents of the Moscow region over 65 years of age or having chronic diseases should continue to observe the regime of self-isolation until July 12, it follows from the decree of the governor of the Moscow region.

"Oblige to comply with the regime of self-isolation of citizens over 65 years of age, as well as citizens with diseases specified in Appendix 1 to this resolution, during the periods: from June 15 to June 28, 2020; from June 29 to July 12, 2020," - according to a document published on the website of the regional government. He is also quoted by Interfax.

The self-isolation regime was introduced for residents of the Moscow Region over 65 years of age and people with chronic diseases since March 26.

At the same time on Tuesday in the Moscow region the restrictions on walking and playing sports on sports and playgrounds were lifted. Earlier in the suburbs, such restrictions were introduced. At the same time, in public places, residents need to continue to maintain social distance, as well as wear protective masks.

Over the past day, 918 patients with coronavirus recovered in the Moscow Region, the regional operational headquarters on the situation with COVID-2019 said. For all time, more than 35,240 patients in the Moscow Region recovered from coronavirus.

"All of them were discharged after receiving negative results of a coronavirus infection test," the report said.

For the entire time of the COVID-19 pandemic, 57,570 people fell ill in the Moscow Region, 887 of them died.
