The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation has prepared a draft of a new federal law on migration issues, according to which it is proposed to introduce an advance tax for foreigners who come to Russia to earn money, RIA Novosti reports.
It is noted that the relevant draft law will simplify the procedure for obtaining Russian citizenship and employment of citizens of other countries.
According to the document, foreigners will be able to carry out labor activities in the Russian Federation regardless of the procedure for entering the territory of the state on the basis of electronic patents. At the same time, migrants will have to pay a fixed income tax - an advance payment.
As specified in the department, in case of non-payment of such a payment, it is planned to send a notification to foreigners demanding to pay tax within 15 days. If refused, migrants will be banned from working in Russia, in addition, non-payers may be deported from the country.
Meanwhile, employers will need to submit a special application for inclusion in the register of employers that attract foreign labor (RRPIRS).
Previously, foreigners who own housing in our country were allowed to register other foreign citizens with them.
