The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation declared no serious violations in the elections

There were no serious violations of public order and electoral legislation on the day of single voting on September 13. This, speaking at the CEC, was announced by the first deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Alexander Gorovoy.

According to him, the department received 2,539 reports of violations during early voting and on a single voting day. They mainly talked about the violation of campaigning, the destruction of campaign materials, bribery of voters, interference in the work of commissions, the illegal issuance of ballots.

It is noted that by the end of Wednesday next week, the Ministry of Internal Affairs intends to complete verification of all registered messages.

In addition, the Ministry of Internal Affairs revealed "massive stuffing" of false information with the aim of provocation.

“We clearly see massive stuffing for the subsequent promotion in social networks and the media,” TASS quoted a ministry spokesman as saying.

Gorovoy also said that the protection of public order and the safety of the requirements of the electoral legislation was provided by more than 134 thousand police officers, National Guardsmen, employees of public organizations of law enforcement and the Cossacks.

Let us remind you that on September 13, more than 9 thousand campaigns of all levels are held in 83 constituent entities of the Russian Federation (except for Kabardino-Balkaria and St. Petersburg). More than 56 thousand polling stations were opened throughout the country on this day. Earlier, the CEC called interim data on the turnout in elections in the regions.
