Germany is not ready to accept illegal migrants who are on the Polish-Belarusian border, said the acting. the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany Horst Seehofer.
Earlier it was reported that President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko proposed to the European Union to create a humanitarian corridor in Germany for refugees. Minsk noted that in a conversation with Lukashenka, acting German Chancellor Angela Merkel promised to hold talks with Western countries on this issue.
However, Seehofer called these reports untrue.
“I discussed this information with the Chancellor and received a clear answer that we are talking about a false report,” TASS quotes him as saying.
Let us remind you that the situation on the border escalated on November 8. Several thousand migrants are trying to get to the territory of the European Union, but the Polish security forces do not allow illegal immigrants, since they do not consider them refugees. Western countries believe that the actions of the Belarusian authorities led to the migration crisis. Minsk does not agree with this.
