The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that the nationalist statements of the new Minister of Information of Kazakhstan, Askar Umarov, are unacceptable, RIA Novosti reports.
According to her, one can find xenophobia and hate speech, as well as other unacceptable things, in Umarov’s statements. They, as noted by the diplomat, rightly caused an exacerbated reaction among the citizens of Russia and Kazakhstan.
Earlier, the head of the state corporation Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, advised the new Minister of Information of Kazakhstan, Askar Umarov, not to visit the Baikonur Cosmodrome. Recall that Umarov was appointed Minister of Information and Social Development on January 11. He is known for his Russophobic statements, in connection with which he is banned from entering Russia.
