Representatives of the RF Ministry of Finance responded to the call to introduce a tax on childlessness in the RF. According to RIA Novosti, the department reported that such proposals are not being considered.
Prior to that, the head of the "Council of Mothers" Tatyana Butskaya on the air of the radio station "Moscow speaking" announced the need to introduce such a tax. In her opinion, a payment of 500 rubles per month would be acceptable.
“We are talking about those who deliberately give up the decision to have a child. They don't like it, let them pay the tax and don't like it further, ”Butskaya said. At the same time, she stressed that payments should not be introduced in relation to citizens who cannot have children for medical reasons.
She explained the need to introduce such a tax with a “huge demographic hole” and an increase in migration.
Earlier, a member of the Public Chamber of Russia, chairman of the National Parents' Committee Irina Volynets came up with an initiative to abolish the property tax for large families before the youngest child reaches the age of majority.
