A package of directives has been submitted to the government stating that another 5.5 billion rubles from the reserve fund should be allocated for the state program for co-financing mortgages for large families. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Finance.
The support will affect families where the third or subsequent children were born after January 1, 2019. They are invited to allocate an additional 450 thousand rubles. It will be possible to spend them to pay off the balance or accrued interest on a loan for an apartment, house or land plot. The program applies to both previously taken mortgage loans and those that the family is just planning to arrange,
The department calculated that in 2020 40.5 billion rubles will be spent on these purposes. Such an amount that corresponds to 90 thousand applications.
The program of co-financing of mortgage loans is gaining popularity among citizens, and together with our preferential mortgage programs, such as mortgages at 6.5%, family mortgages, will increase the efficiency of the implementation of government support measures and help more families to improve their living conditions- explained the Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov.
At the same time, as of October 11, since the start of the program, more than 85 thousand families have received payments to write off mortgage debt in connection with the birth of their third and subsequent children.
