17 attacks were recorded in the SAR by the Russian military in a day, said Deputy Head of the Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties in Syria, Rear Admiral Vyacheslav Sytnik.
In the province of Idlib, 12 attacks took place, in the provinces of Hama and Latakia – two attacks each. Another shelling was recorded in Aleppo.
Sytnik noted that the fire was opened from the positions of the Dzhebhat al-Nusra terrorist organization banned in Russia. No shelling by illegal armed groups controlled by the Turkish side was recorded.
Recall that on December 29 in Idlib, three Russians were wounded when an armored personnel carrier of the Russian military police was fired upon. According to Vyacheslav Sytnik, the BTR-82A was fired at from the ATGM from the territory, which is “under the control of pro-Turkish bandit formations.”
