The representative of the Luhansk People’s Republic in the political subgroup of the Contact Group on Donbass, Rodion Miroshnik, called the words of the new Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexei Reznikov a lie that Kiev, using UAVs in Donbass, did not violate the Minsk agreements.
“Reznikov lied a day after his appointment!”
He explained that Reznikov recalled the memorandum of September 19, 2014, which refers to the ban on the use of foreign unmanned aerial vehicles. At the same time, according to Miroshnik, the Minister of Defense forgot about the document signed last year.
The LPR representative recalled that in July last year, “Measures to strengthen the ceasefire” were approved. In particular, the document indicated a ban on the use of any types of UAVs. Miroshnik added that Reznikov took part in the development of this document. In addition, he called the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine “a mafia lawyer.”
Earlier it became known that the former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Oleksiy Reznikov became the new head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
It was also reported that the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, commenting on the recent hostilities on the line of contact, expressed the opinion that Ukraine is preparing for a war or a serious provocation in Donbass.
