The Kremlin named the topics of talks between Putin and Vucic in Sochi

Gas prices and the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic will become topics for discussion during the talks between the presidents of the Russian Federation and Serbia, Vladimir Putin and Alexander Vucic, in Sochi, said the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov. RIA Novosti writes about it.

Peskov called the meeting of the presidents, which will take place on November 25, very important. He recalled the special nature of friendly relations between Moscow and Belgrade. “Our relations are bilateral … very voluminous in terms of points of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation and interaction: trade, economic, investment and others,” said Peskov.

Among the possible topics for discussion, the Kremlin spokesman named gas prices, the fight against coronavirus, as well as the situation in the Balkans. In addition, Putin and Vucic will exchange views on the international situation.

Vucic previously announced that he intends to discuss gas prices for Serbia and an increase in supply volumes with Putin. The Serbian leader believes that the President of the Russian Federation will show understanding on these issues.

Before visiting Russia, Vucic planned to meet with Serbian member of the Presidium of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik. However, he stressed that he would not go with him to negotiations with Putin, since Dodik is a representative of another country.
