On April 15, US President Joe Biden introduced new anti-Russian sanctions. The Kremlin reacted with retaliatory measures.
US President Joe Biden recently announced his intention to end the deterioration of relations with Russia and called it a “great power.” At the same time, he introduced new sanctions against our country. The actions of the American leader are sometimes difficult to explain logically.
This time, America has imposed sanctions against 32 Russian individuals and legal entities, as well as six enterprises. Also, the United States announced its intention to expel ten Russian diplomats.
As in previous times, Russia responded to the United States in kind. According to the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, such a tactic on the part of Moscow is acceptable and justified. Dmitry Peskov stressed that there is a clear position of reciprocity in Moscow’s actions, writes RT.
“Each time with regard to the United States, of course, appropriate measures will be taken if such a sanctions practice continues,” Dmitry Peskov said.
The Russian Foreign Ministry has already given a detailed account of Russia’s retaliatory measures due to “hostile actions by the United States.” The department noted that Russia cannot but respond to such drastic steps.
Earlier, “Dni.ru” reported that the prohibition of American companies to buy Russian debts will lead to a decrease in the real incomes of Russians, the budget in the social sphere, rise in prices, depreciation. This point of view was expressed by political expert Igor Nikolaev.
