The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov stressed that the Victory Parade this year will definitely take place, reports TASS.
He told the press about this. At the same time, Peskov did not answer the question about the date of the holiday.
“I do not know yet. But the fact that there will be a parade is unambiguous, ”the Kremlin spokesman said.
“You know that even in 2020 there was a parade, so there will be a parade, no doubt about it,” the Kremlin spokesman confirmed.
The parade dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War was postponed last year from May 9 to June 24 due to the coronavirus pandemic. This date was chosen because the historic Winners’ Parade took place on the same day in 1945.
