The heads of the Russian Federation and Tajikistan decided to hold a telephone conversation

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Tajik leader Emomali Rahmon agreed to hold a telephone conversation after the online summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), TASS reports.

Earlier, during the summit, Rahmon said that there are dormant cells of terrorist organizations in Central Asia, and about 6,000 militants are operating on the CSTO borders.

Recall that the leaders of the CSTO countries on Monday, January 10, are holding an extraordinary video conference in Kazakhstan. During the meeting, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev thanked the heads of the Russian Federation and Belarus, Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko for their help and military brotherhood. According to Tokayev, Kazakhstan has experienced the worst crisis in the history of independence.
