Earlier, the LPR reported that during a meeting of the economic subgroup on Donbass, representatives of Kiev proposed to discuss the issue of commercial supplies of electricity and coal from the part of Donbass not controlled by the Ukrainian authorities. According to Pasechnik, the republic’s leadership is ready to consider options for cooperation with Kiev on commercial supplies of resources.

“No prices and no conditions were discussed. Kiev was interested in organizing quietly the supply of electricity and coal to them, because they have an energy crisis in the country and they are on the verge of rolling blackouts, ”the head of the LPR said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Earlier, political scientist Andrei Ivanov said that Ukraine perfectly understands why it “does not fit” into the European Union in any form. He also noted that constant conversations on this topic are encouraging for the Ukrainian audience and its politicians.
