The head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces, General Mark Milley, became ill with a coronavirus infection. This is stated in a written statement by the official representative of the KNS, Colonel David Butler, TASS reports.

It is specified that Millie passed a positive test for COVID-19 on Sunday, January 16. The 63-year-old general has minor symptoms of the disease.

He is currently in self-isolation while continuing to work remotely.
