The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, who has been leading the republic since 2014, spoke about the mistakes made in his post.
The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, told reporters what he was wrong about, being in such a post. The first year of civil service turned out to be the most naive period. As Aksyonov admits, he then “took everything at face value.”
“Before that, I had never worked in government agencies, therefore, I took everything at face value,” he said on the air of the Millet channel.
Errors in work at the post of the head of Crimea were associated with personnel decisions, he noted.
“They bet on the wrong people at the wrong time. But everything that’s done is for the better. Without this experience there would be no other,” Aksyonov explained.
Today the team is faced with the task of turning Crimea into a donor region in which to live comfortably and with high quality, RIA Novosti reports.
