Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on the allocation of funds to partially compensate producers of flour, bread and bakery products for the cost of purchasing grain and selling finished products.
According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, it is planned to allocate 4.7 billion rubles for these purposes, of which 2.9 billion rubles will be spent on the purchase of milling wheat, and 1.8 billion rubles – to pay compensation to bakeries.
The funds will go to regional budgets and will help keep prices for bread and bakery products at an acceptable level, – it says in the message.
The press service clarified that the decision approved by the Prime Minister is part of a set of measures to reduce food prices, which was prepared on behalf of the head of state.
