The Russian government has allocated 1 billion rubles for housing for veterans of the Great Patriotic War. The corresponding order was signed by the country's Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The document notes that funds in the amount of 1,046,562.4 thousand rubles will be allocated by the Ministry of Construction from the reserve fund of the government of the state in 2020.
Budget allocations will be allocated for the provision of subventions from the federal budget to the budgets of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation for the exercise of powers to provide housing for certain categories of citizens, meaning the provision of housing for 607 people, - transfers RNS.
The money will be transferred to 65 regions of the country. The largest amounts will be provided to St. Petersburg, Bashkiria and the Rostov region. Thanks to funds from the budget, 607 veterans who have registered to improve their living conditions will be able to move to new apartments.
Mishustin's order must be implemented by the end of this year.
