The first batch of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine delivered to Mexico

The first batch of the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine was delivered to Mexico.

The plane with cargo from the Russian Federation late on Monday evening, February 22, landed at the Mexico City airport, TASS reports.

The Russian drug will be used to vaccinate the elderly. The vaccination campaign starts tomorrow in three metropolitan districts.

Earlier on Tuesday, it became known that the Sputnik V anti-coronavirus vaccine had been registered in Kyrgyzstan.

The Ministry of Health of the republic believes that the registration of this drug against coronavirus will allow the population to be vaccinated in the near future.

On the eve of “Sputnik V” was registered in Syria. Local authorities have allowed the use of the Russian vaccine in the republic.
