Pavel Guzhikov, founder and CEO of the fintech company Dengi Vperyod, named a way to stop living from paycheck to paycheck. He told RIA Novosti how Russians can improve their financial situation.
As the expert notes, 25 percent of residents do not have enough salaries for basic needs. Because of this, every fourth Russian is faced with the need to borrow or take out loans. According to Guzhikov, every person needs an airbag. To form it, you should set aside at least 10 percent of your monthly income. At the same time, the specialist emphasized that this percentage should be regularly increased. “Having a reserve of 3-6 monthly expenses, suddenly needed expenses for treatment or repair of equipment will not unsettle you and until the next salary your budget will hold on absolutely calmly,” the financier explained.
Guzhikov also recommended planning and optimizing your expenses. To avoid delays in mandatory payments, the specialist suggests planning them in such a way that they coincide with the dates of the advance or salary. Do not forget about special applications for financial accounting, the expert added. Such programs will help you avoid unnecessary expenses.
Earlier, the Russians were told the terms for the accumulation of one million rubles. According to experts, residents of most regions will need more than 20 years.
