The euro crossed the 87 rubles mark for the first time since April 1

The euro rate exceeded 87 rubles for the first time since April 1. The cost of one euro reached 87.35 rubles. This is evidenced by data from trading on the Moscow Exchange.

The dollar also rose against the Russian currency. To date, its cost, according to the exchange, is 73.43 rubles.

The ruble has been losing ground in recent days. The day before, the mark of 86 rubles per euro was passed.

Let us remind you that the general director of the rating agency "Expert RA" Sergey Tishchenko predicted that by the end of 2020 the dollar exchange rate would drop to 66 rubles. According to the expert, the budget deficit of Russia at this rate and the average annual oil price of $ 50 per barrel will amount to about five percent of GDP.
