The dollar rate rose above 78 rubles

At the opening of trading on the Moscow Exchange on October 15, the dollar rate rose by 0.4% to 77.95 rubles, while the euro rate - by 0.22% to 91.4 rubles. Within five minutes after the start of trading, the American currency rose above 78 rubles for the first time since October 8.

According to the trading data, the dollar rate by “tomorrow” settlements at 10:05 Moscow time rose by 39 kopecks - up to 78.05 rubles, the euro rate - by 40 kopecks, up to 91.6 rubles.

December futures for Brent crude fell 0.42% to $ 43.14 a barrel.

As wrote, according to the official exchange rates set by the Central Bank on October 14, the dollar rose by 26.16 kopecks, the euro rose by 6.95 kopecks. As of October 14, the dollar exchange rate is set at 77.2855 rubles, the euro exchange rate - at 91.0732 rubles. The value of the dual-currency basket ($ 0.55 and € 0.45) increased by 17.52 kopecks, to 83.49 rubles.
