Doctor of Medical Sciences Zhanna Ponezheva said that you do not need to get a second vaccination against coronavirus if you fell ill after the first, RIA Novosti reports.
She clarified that at present, patients who have recovered are not vaccinated with either the Sputnik V vaccine or the EpiVacCorona vaccine.
The doctor also recalled that in 3-6 months after the illness, it is necessary to measure the level of antibodies and by their level in the future, a decision will be made.
Earlier, Boris Mendelevich, a member of the State Duma Health Protection Committee, said that the world should unite in the fight against the pandemic, because even if several states refuse vaccination, it threatens world collapse. In turn, Vladimir Putin called for assistance to states in need of support, including African ones, in providing tests and vaccines against coronavirus.
