Infectious disease doctor Nikolai Malyshev said that those who have recently had a coronavirus infection should not rush to vaccinate, the press center of the Rossiya Segodnya MIA reports.
According to the specialist, the optimal period for the administration of the drug will be an interval of 6-9 months; you do not need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 right away.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said that as of January 23, the country had already produced 7.6 million doses of the vaccine against COVID-19, of which 2.1 million doses were delivered to the regions. At the same time, to ensure the quality and safety of drugs for coronavirus, they undergo strict control, and only then are released for use.
Golikova noted that the heads of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation were warned of an increase in the supply of vaccines next week, in connection with which they were instructed to strengthen informing citizens about the possibility of being vaccinated and to organize vaccination points in sparsely populated and remote areas.
