The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated more than 56 billion rubles to support healthcare

The Russian government has additionally allocated more than 56 billion rubles to support the health care system. This was announced by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin during a meeting of the Presidium of the Coordination Council for Combating COVID-19.

He noted that the funds will go to the regions to provide assistance to those infected with coronavirus and citizens with suspected infection. At the same time, the population of the country will receive treatment free of charge under the compulsory health insurance policy.

The Prime Minister added that all the necessary documents have already been signed.

Earlier it was reported that Rospotrebnadzor allowed a decrease in the incidence of COVID-19 by the end of 2021.
