The State Border Service of Ukraine denied entry to 15 foreigners from the Middle East, who claimed to have traveled to the country from Belarus for tourism purposes, the agency’s website reports.
It is clarified that 15 foreigners, including four teenagers, were traveling on a regular bus and tried to cross the border at a checkpoint located in the Chernihiv region.
“The border guards found out that the foreigners arrived in Minsk a few weeks ago and immediately went to the Grodno region. It was found that they had no reason to enter the country, ”the message says.
It is noted that the majority of foreigners had passports issued in September-October this year.
The situation on the Polish-Belarusian border escalated on November 8. Several thousand migrants are trying to get to the EU, but the Polish security forces do not allow illegal immigrants, since they do not consider them refugees.
Earlier it was reported that a one-year-old child of migrants from Syria died in a forest on the Polish-Belarusian border.
