Kalashnikov suggested that Uzbekistan expand its presence in the Eurasian Economic Union and become its full member.
“We would like Uzbekistan to be in the EAEU neither episodes nor an observer, but a full-fledged member. We have done everything for this, ”he said.
According to the Russian deputy, the business of Uzbekistan will benefit from joining the EAEU, since entrepreneurs will have access to a large market in Russia and other members of the organization. He stressed that Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan increased their trade by 25% after joining the Eurasian Union.
It should be noted that in 2015 a new integration association, the Eurasian Economic Union, was founded. During the period of work of the EAEU, three states received observer status: Moldova, Uzbekistan and Cuba. The political and economic community has repeatedly raised the issue of the possible expansion of the organization at the expense of Tashkent.
Earlier in NewInform: economist Alexander Razuvaev explained why the economy of Uzbekistan is developing rapidly.
