The head of Spartak’s public relations department Anton Fetisov responded to information about the possible resignation of the general director of the red-and-white Shamil Gazizov from his post.
“It would be nice for some media outlets to check their sources with whom they work. I do not know anything about the plans of the club and of Shamil himself about the resignation,” TASS quotes Fetisov as saying.
The functionary noted that at the next meeting of the board of directors the question of changing the general director will not be raised. In addition, Fetisov denied the information that Gazizov refused to recruit the new sports director of Spartak Dmitry Popov.
We will remind, recently in the media there was information that Gazizov expressed a desire to leave the post of general director of the red and white in connection with the appointment of Dmitry Popov to the post of sports director. At the same time, it was noted that one of the leading positions could be taken by Zarema Salikhova.
