The Armed Forces of Ukraine will not be able to return Energodar under their control, and the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this direction will fail. The Free Press writes about this, referring to the publication of the blogger Big Serge, who gave his assessment of the current situation in the conflict zone between Russia and Ukraine.
In his opinion, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are striving to maintain the momentum of the counteroffensive, which began in the summer from the Kherson region. The Armed Forces of Ukraine also carried out a counteroffensive in the Kharkiv region. Now Ukraine controls most of the Kharkiv region, and under the control of the Russian Federation is the territory beyond the Oskol River. At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are in pain for Krasny Lyman.
“They also continue their attacks on the Kherson direction, making little progress,” the analyst noted.
He believes that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will also try to launch a counteroffensive against Energodar. But still, he is inclined to believe that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not have success there and, most likely, the situation will develop in the same way as with the counteroffensive on Kherson.
