The President of Russia urged to work out the existing issues
Vladimir Putin commented on doubts about electronic voting in Moscow. According to the leader of the Russians, the matter is not in the quality of the vote, but in the fact that “someone did not like the result.” It was the dissatisfied with the outcome that expressed their doubts in the DEG.
The head of state said this at a meeting with the leaders of political forces that went to the State Duma of the eighth convocation. Putin also noted that this happens, but the existing issues need to be worked out.
The President recalled that United Russia had questions about remote electronic voting, but in the end they decided to use the system because of its convenience. Putin pointed out that technical progress cannot be slowed down.
From 17 to 19 September, a single voting day took place in Russia. By decision of the CEC, electronic voting was also held in the capital and a number of regions of the country. In Moscow, the DEG took place on its own platform, in the rest of the country – on the federal one.
