Large-scale vaccination of people against coronavirus in Moscow may begin in a few months. The mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in an interview with the Russia-1 TV channel, said that the city must try to go through the history of the pandemic without losses.
“In a few months there will definitely be a vaccine that can be used to vaccinate people on an industrial scale. This story will end, ”Sobyanin said.
Sobyanin stressed that the risk of contracting a coronavirus infection exists always and everywhere, because there may be a person with a dangerous infection nearby who is unaware of his illness.
Earlier, the head of the regional Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Svetlana Strigunkova, said that in the Moscow region the situation with the coronavirus is not yet critical, despite a steady increase in infection cases, the Internet publication Podmoskovye Segodnya reports.
