Professional kite hunter Gavin Smith is very grateful to a Canberra, Australia resident who called him asking for help with an eastern brown snake.
An eyewitness found a reptile that was in a painful position. The snake’s head was stuck in a soda can, plus it tried to crawl blindly across the road. While waiting for the expert, the stranger managed to at least prevent the snake from ending up on the highway.
Gavin, who came to the rescue, first cut out a small square in the bank so that he could see the reptile’s head. After that, it was enough for a man to make a few precise cuts – and the snake got freedom.
