Sitnikov re-elected as governor of the Kostroma region

The current governor of the Kostroma region, Sergei Sitnikov, won the election for the head of the region with 64.66% of the vote following the processing of 100% of the protocols, RIA Novosti reports, citing a representative of the regional election commission.

At the same time, the turnout in the region was 31.98%, in the 2015 elections it was 35.76%. In total, five candidates ran for the post of governor.

Earlier it was reported that the interim governor of the Irkutsk region Igor Kobzev wins the elections for the head of the region. Alexander Drozdenko won the election of the governor of the Leningrad region.

As a reminder, on the single voting day on September 13, more than nine thousand election campaigns of all levels took place in 83 regions.
