Ukrainian singer Maruv (Anna Korsun), who recently performed in Russia, cannot return to Ukraine due to quarantine introduced in the country .
Maruv told Instagram that she asked the Ukrainian consulate to explain to her the rules for returning to Ukraine in the current situation.
“I'm just in shock! I called the Ukrainian consulate to explain how to get home … This is the most ignorant consulate … The operator girl just hangs up or does not pick it up, ”the singer said.
In response, they told her that “everyone who wanted to leave had already left.” Maruv accused diplomats of prejudice against Ukrainians who are in Russia.
“For objective reasons, I could not leave earlier and get home, tell me what to do now. I want to say one thing: they don’t do this, why in other countries they stand for their citizens? Moreover, it looks like a biased attitude towards the citizens of Ukraine who are currently in Russia, ”said Korsun.
“I have the same passport as yours, and the same rights are guaranteed to me by the constitution as you are,” the performer was indignant.
