Siluanov: the Federal Tax Service collected over 28 trillion rubles in the budgets of all levels in 2020.

The Federal Tax Service (FTS) of Russia in 2020 collected more than 28 trillion rubles in the budgets of all levels, TASS reports with reference to the words of the Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Anton Siluanov.

It is noted that the tasks for filling the budget were completed. More than 28 trillion rubles have been collected in the budgets of all levels. A blockchain platform has been created – a special service for a system of interest-free lending to small and medium-sized businesses during a pandemic. The USR registry office system helped quickly provide financial support to families with children. Ineffective incentives were also removed and a digital platform for collecting and analyzing tax expenditure data was created.

According to the Federal Tax Service, without taking into account the severance tax, revenues to the consolidated budget of the Russian Federation amounted to 17.2 trillion rubles and increased by 2.6%.

The department noted that the increase in personal income tax revenues by 4 pp exceeds the growth rate of the wage fund. According to the head of the Federal Tax Service Daniil Yegorov, such results were achieved, in particular, thanks to the analytical tools and control systems of the service.

Earlier it was reported about new measures to protect citizens, who purchase financial instruments without being qualified investors… President Vladimir Putin gave instructions to ensure such measures to the government together with the Central Bank. The necessary changes to Russian legislation must be made by July 15th.
