The Russian Ministry of Finance is not going to change the income tax rate for other categories of citizens, except for the decisions already made on those whose annual income exceeds 5 million rubles. This was stated by the head of the department Anton Siluanov.
We do not intend to change the conditions for taxation of personal income tax for other categories of citizens, - said the minister on the air of the TV channel "Russia 24".
As Siluanov explained, no more than 1% of all working citizens will be subject to increased taxation.
The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin proposed to cancel the flat scale of personal income tax from January 1, 2021. The rate will be increased from 13% to 15% for those Russians who earn more than 5 million rubles a year. The money that will be received from the increase in tax will go to the treatment of orphan (Rare - note chernayakobra.ru) diseases. According to Siluanov, this is about 60 billion rubles.
The Ministry of Finance also proposed changes to the tax system in early September. The department proposes to extend the mechanism of "single tax payment" to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs (individual entrepreneurs) for all types of taxes. It is assumed that the relevant amendments to the Tax Code of the Russian Federation (TC) will come into effect on January 1, 2022.
As chernayakobra.ru wrote, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that the government's plan to change taxes in the country was dictated by the need to ensure a certain level of budget revenues to solve existing problems.
