On Wednesday, April 28, clashes broke out on the border between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan over the Golovnaya water intake. On Friday, April 30, the shooting resumed.
The national news agency “Kabar”, citing the Batken oblast police department, reports that the shootout has been going on for the past few hours. In three villages of the aforementioned region, a state of emergency was established.
In addition, the Tajik Palestine took hostage the head of the International Leilek region. The local media reported that the incident happened when the bulb was planted and came to one of the conflict sites to clarify information about the two dead citizens. On the fact of taking the head of the village hostage, a pre-trial investigation is underway.
