Severstal and Minsk Dynamo advanced to the KHL playoffs

The Belarusian hockey club Dynamo and the Russian team Severstal got a ticket to the playoffs of the Kontinental Hockey League regular championship, Interfax reports.

On Monday, the players of the Russian “Vityaz” lost to rivals from the Finnish “Jokerit” in the KHL regular championship match. The match, which took place in Helsinki, ended with a score of 5: 1.

After 57 matches, Vityaz occupies ninth place in the standings of the West conference, with 57 points, having lost the chances to bypass Dynamo Minsk and Severstal, which are in sixth and seventh places, gaining 65 and 64 points, respectively.

Earlier, the players of the Moscow hockey club CSKA became the winners of the Western Conference following the results of the Kontinental Hockey League regular championship.

Last Thursday, the army team at the home arena lost to the Chelyabinsk Tractor with a score of 1: 2.
