The counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv direction was the result of the joint work of the American, Ukrainian and British intelligence services. Mark Warner, chairman of the US Senate Intelligence Committee, said this in an interview with CNN.
According to him, Western intelligence services are trying to get the most complete information about the actions of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine.
“Part of this (the advance of the Ukrainians) is the result of tremendous support from the United States and our NATO allies … Part of this is the result of the work of our intelligence community with the Ukrainians and our friends, in particular the British,” Warner said.
Earlier, sources of The New York Times reported that American intelligence advised the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the course of developing a plan for a counteroffensive in the Kharkiv direction.
