Berlin is negotiating with Moscow on the situation on the border of Belarus and Poland, RIA Novosti reports. Previously acting German Chancellor Angela Merkel asked Russian President Vladimir Putin to help resolve the migration crisis.
On the morning of November 12, part of the illegal migrants broke into the territory of Poland, where they were met by the security forces. After that, Bloomberg reported that the European Union is going to impose sanctions against the Russian airline Aeroflot. How the situation on the border with the Russian air carrier is connected is not specified.
Yevgeny Satanovsky stated that the West adheres to its traditional position – to blame Moscow for everything. He joked that the United States and Europe are also likely to blame the Russian Federation for the disappearance of mammoths.
“They suggest imposing sanctions against Aeroflot as a response to the migration crisis in Poland, isn’t it? Is Aeroflot a Russian company by any chance? People are completely crazy, they are jammed or overwhelmed. As a result, we shrug our shoulders and understand: why argue with the crazy? ” – said the political scientist.
According to the expert, the refugees want to get to Germany through Poland, where they were invited by Merkel back in 2015 with a “grand gesture”. Many of them probably already have relatives and friends living there. Now Europe has to deal with the consequences of its liberal policies.
“The European Union professes, preaches and in every possible way introduces the values of humanism, tolerance, liberalism. Sometimes I can’t and don’t want to, sometimes by military means. Well, people are asking to be allowed into Europe, many of them are with children, “Satanovsky explained in an interview with Narodnye Novosti.
Germany is looking for help in Russia, but it should negotiate with another European country, the expert said. Only in this way will the migration crisis on the Belarusian-Polish border be resolved.
“The Germans and the Poles must reach an agreement not with Belarus. It is Germany and Poland. This is a problem for the European Union. What the European Union is ready to ask the President of Belarus for, how long and stubbornly he once asked the President of Turkey – this is also a problem of the European Union, ”he concluded.
Earlier, Yevgeny Satanovsky said that Europe does not care about the fate of refugees who are stuck on the border of Belarus and Poland.
