The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) announced on its official website the registration of a domestic vaccine for the prevention of coronavirus infection Sputnik V in Gabon.
It is noted that the corresponding decision was made by the Ministry of Health of the Gabonese Republic, registration took place under an accelerated procedure.
“Gabon has become the 29th country in the world and the 4th state on the African continent to approve the Sputnik V vaccine,” the organization said.
Earlier, the manufacturer of Sputnik V filed an application for vaccine registration in South Africa. In the meantime, the Uzbek authorities approved the use of a Russian anti-anxiety drug in the country.
Recall that today, the drug developed by the Gamaleya Center for COVID-19 is also registered in Russia, Kazakhstan, Saint Vincent, the Grenadines, Montenegro, Belarus, Argentina, Bolivia, Serbia, Algeria, Palestine, Venezuela, Paraguay, Turkmenistan, Hungary , UAE, Iran, Republic of Guinea, Tunisia, Armenia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Republika Srpska (entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina), Lebanon, Myanmar, Pakistan, Mongolia and Bahrain.
