Russian peacekeepers entered a hot spot in southern Syria, where they raised the flags of Russia and the SAR.
Russian special forces and military police entered the Arbin quarter of Daraa al-Balad, which is located near the border with Israel and Jordan.
The flags of Russia and Syria were raised at the site, the military correspondent of the Russian Spring portal reports.
He noted that the militants, funded by foreign special services, have already begun to surrender their weapons.
Note that earlier, an agreement was reached between the Syrian authorities and illegal armed groups. Government forces set up roadblocks, the Russians deploy military forces to act as peacekeepers, and terrorists cease fire and surrender their weapons. In exchange, they are guaranteed amnesty. Militants who refused the amnesty will be taken to the de-escalation zone of Idlib.
Idlib remains the only province that the Syrian army does not yet fully control. The main forces of various terrorist groups are concentrated there, some of which are financed from abroad.
