Russian MMA fighter Nemkov made his way to Bellator Grand Prix semifinals

Bellator light heavyweight champion Russian fighter Vadim Nemkov defeated American Phil Davis and reached the semifinals of the organization’s Grand Prix, TASS reports.

The Russian won the quarterfinal match by unanimous decision.

In the 1/2 finals, Nemkov will face the winner of the fight between American Anthony Johnson and Cuban Yoel Romero, which will take place on May 8.

At the moment, the 28-year-old Russian, who is part of the team of Fedor Emelianenko, has 13 victories and two defeats.

In another fight for reaching the semifinals, American Corey Anderson defeated Dovletjan Yagshimuradov from Turkmenistan by TKO in the third round.

Earlier it was reported that the rematch between the Russian MMA fighter Peter Yan and Aljemein Sterling from the United States will take place in May or June. During the last fight with the American, the Russian used an illegal trick, after which he was stripped of the UFC champion title.
