The Russian film “Bank” received a prize in the category “Audience Choice” at the Festival Angaelica. It was in California.
The Russian painting “Bank” by Eduard Kovzan tells about the usual farmer Charlie, who acquires a tin can, with which unusual things begin in his life. The painting is based on a story by Ray Bradbury. It was filmed by the Lipetsk Film Studio in Russian, but especially for international festivals, English subtitles were given to it based on the original text by Bradbury.
The film has already won a prize at the Festival Angaelica in California in the Audience Choice category. The festival ran online due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Bank was also nominated for the International Moving Film Festival award in the city of Abadan (Iran).
On January 16, the picture will be presented to Russian viewers.
