Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a document according to which the Russian Federation will open the border with South Ossetia. The text of the order was published on the portal of the Cabinet.
The order also removes restrictions on entry and exit from the country for certain categories of specialists. Similar measures were introduced earlier due to the spread of COVID-19.
Earlier it was reported about the decision of the South Ossetian government to open the border with Russia unilaterally from 23 hours 59 minutes on Monday. Crossing the state border is possible through the multilateral checkpoint "Ruk".
In addition, from September 15, South Ossetia will abolish the mandatory two-week quarantine for those entering the country.
