Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Ryabkov estimated the likelihood of the West using nuclear weapons in Ukraine

Russia hopes that the United States and its allies will be smart enough not to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said.

He stressed that Western countries should be aware of the consequences that a direct collision with the use of nuclear weapons on Ukrainian territory could lead to.

“I hope that after all, the remnants of common sense will allow these politicians, these applicants for the role of world conductors, to refrain from making such decisions,” he said in an interview with media representatives.

Ryabkov stressed that there would be no turning back if the nuclear arsenal was used.
