Russian biathletes took third place in the men’s relay race at the Biathlon World Championships in Pokljuka, TASS reports.
The Russians were 50.9 seconds behind the winning Norwegian team and spent five additional rounds. This is the first medal for the Russian national team at the current World Cup.
Recall that the Russian team includes Karim Khalili, Matvey Eliseev and Alexander Loginov.
The victory was won by the Norwegian national team with a result of 1 hour 12 minutes 27.4 seconds, the second place went to Sweden.
Earlier it was reported that the Russians repeated the worst result in the relay races at the Biathlon World Cup. It also became known that the head coach of the Russian national biathlon team, Valery Polkhovsky, for health reasons, will not be able to attend the end of the World Cup.
