The French Foreign Ministry expressed concern about the limitation of the hiring of employees – Russian citizens in the diplomatic missions of the kingdoms. Paris urged not to carry out this decree of the President of Russia.

In addition, the French Foreign Ministry said that the decisions of a relatively group of European diplomats met by the Russian Federation will not ease tensions in bilateral relations.

It is worth recalling that earlier Russia introduced sanctions in the relationship of a number of high-ranking EU officials, including against the head of the European Parliament David Sassoli.
