The units of the Russian Armed Forces continue a special military operation to demilitarize Ukraine. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation informs about the course of the event.
According to the military department, Russian air defense systems successfully intercepted two Ukrainian MiG-29 fighters and one Mi-8 helicopter near Nikolaev during the day. In addition, in the Kherson region, the Russian side shot down five shells of the Smerch multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) and three Tochka-U tactical missiles launched by Ukrainian nationalists.
